Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Scoop Cop LLC collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, request pet waste removal, or pay for service.

Effective and last updated: September 19, 2026

If you have a privacy question or request, email us at hello@scoopcop.com.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you request service, we may collect:

  • Your name and phone number
  • Your email address, if you choose to provide it
  • Your street address, city, state, and ZIP code
  • The number of dogs at the property
  • The service or plan you request
  • Your preferred service date and time window
  • Notes you submit with your request

If you use address autocomplete, Google Places may process the address text you enter to return address suggestions.

Information collected when you use the site

We may collect source or referrer information, campaign parameters, device and browser information, and a privacy-preserving hash derived from your IP address. Our analytics and advertising tools may also collect the information described below through cookies or similar technologies.

Payment information

Stripe handles payment and saved-card details. Scoop Cop does not receive or store your full card number. We may receive transaction, status, customer, and payment-method reference information needed to operate the service.

How we use information

We use lead and service-request information to:

  • Respond to your request
  • Confirm service availability and timing
  • Provide the service you requested
  • Maintain business and service records
  • Prevent abuse and protect our systems
  • Improve our operations

We store lead and service-request data in Supabase. We may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request or service. Submitting a request does not, by itself, mean that you agree to receive unrelated promotional messages.

When we share information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us with:

  • Website hosting and database services
  • Email and customer communication
  • Payments
  • Analytics and advertising measurement
  • Address autocomplete

These providers process information to support the relevant service. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably needed to protect people, rights, and systems.

We do not sell contact information for money. Some state privacy laws may define certain advertising-related disclosures as "sharing" or targeted advertising. Your rights regarding those disclosures depend on where you live.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how people use the site. Google Analytics may receive page information and device or browser information, and it may use cookies or similar technologies. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Meta advertising measurement

We use Meta Pixel in the browser and Meta Conversions API on the server to measure advertising performance. A server-side Lead event may include hashed versions of an email address or phone number, browser identifiers, and device or request information.

Private payment-token URLs and submitted contact details are not sent to Meta as the event source URL. Learn more in the Meta Privacy Policy.

Your browser controls

You can use your browser or device settings to manage or block cookies and similar technologies. Blocking them may affect how parts of the site work or how accurately site activity is measured.

Payment processing

Stripe processes payment and saved-card details for Scoop Cop. Scoop Cop does not receive or store the full card number. We may receive limited information about the transaction, its status, the customer, and the payment-method reference when needed to operate the service.

Stripe handles information under its own Privacy Policy.

Retention and security

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to provide service, maintain business and payment records, resolve disputes, support security, and meet legal obligations. When appropriate, we delete or de-identify information that is no longer needed for those purposes.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights related to access, correction, deletion, or opting out of certain advertising-related disclosures or targeted advertising.

To ask a question or make a request, email hello@scoopcop.com. Tell us what you are requesting and how we can contact you. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Whether a particular right applies depends on your location and the circumstances of the request.

You can also use your browser or device controls to manage cookies and similar technologies.

Children's privacy

Our site and service are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, services, or legal obligations change. The effective and last updated date at the top shows when this version took effect.
